Our October Limited Release is a special sauce to mark the start of Spooky Season. Heka is named for the ancient and powerful Egyptian God of Magic and Medicine. Feared by his fellow gods, Heka existed before creation and has always simply been, as magic is the underpinning between all worlds visible and invisible. It’s only right that the mysterious air surrounding Halloween be represented by the personification of magic.

Our idea for this sauce has been on the back burner for over a year now, and we are now very proud to share it with the world. Heka is inspired by the rich and spice-driven sauce in traditional Tikka Masala. A creamy deep orange sauce with strong notes of cumin, turmeric, and coriander are upfront along with a subtle hint of sweetness, only to be reinforced with a creeping heat that only Trinidad Scorpion peppers can provide.
